You have to have it in your heart and then you can see it all around. Its in your heart when you have goosebumps all over your body as you stand up to your national anthem, or witness a moment of pride for your nation. You dont need to cry out loud to feel it.
As my India celebrates 60 years of its independence today, its still a long way to go before we make it equally good for all sections of our society and geography. Its not a great landmark in a nations history to mark 60th year of independence, its still a baby's birthday.
But in the years to come, I am sure we Indians will continue to love our rich culture and our nation with same intensity and strive to see it progress in all aspects.

Love the picture and they way you have colored a small portion of it. It goes well with the thought that "India success story" is affecting a very small portion of the country and hopefully soon your whole picture will be filled with the color of India :-)

I wanted to be the first!!but got engaged in flipping thru the other pics u uploaded(grr at da superfast rikky:P)koi baat nahi !!
This snapshot reflects a deep intense hope...a wish..and a dream :)... Wanting to see the beautiful colour spreading around in its full glory.. Muah to our nation... Happy Independence Day.
Just reminded me...Since childhood like every other kid the josh to do the impossible...die for the country...blah blah nurtured my thoughts too, but with passage of time the realization grows how the smallest of feat make the biggest of difference in some way or the other. How true..if its in your heart its everywhere:) Cheers

You have so beautifully and simply put a strong feeling, feeling of taking pride in our nation. I agree, it still a baby's birthday...of independent India and I am sure it will not take a long time before I see the whole picture filled with colors of our nation. I am proud to be an India and hope that one day in whatever little way possible will serve my motherland and I also hope that every Indian has a similar hope... MERA BHARAT MAHAAN

A lovely dedication to our Motherland, I am an Indian and proud to be one....patriotism is not about screaming from the rooftop about one's sentiment its reflected in the pride in saying "I am an Indian" and its an unconditional and like u said if u love it ull see it everywhere and also if you love India ull be proud of everything that is Indian....JAI HIND......VANDE...MATARAM

Your spirit shows in both the picture and your words. Just beautiful. True there are so many issues that still need to be tackled but our motherland has come a long way in the past 60 years, considering the blood shed and chaos that accompanied its birth. May this Independence Day mark the beginning of the return of the glorious era for our Motherland. Vande Mataram!
