Khajuraho

Posted by ConvexClix (Mumbai, India) on 1 December 2007 in Architecture.

Situated in the center of India, this little town was the capital of the Chandela dynasty. Now a small town, Khajuraho hosts this temple complex of 9th century. The temples are made in the typical Indo-Aryan style architecture. The outer walls of the temples are studded with sculptures depicting stories of wars, courtship, dance, music and even love making.

This picture was taken six years back, I had borrowed the camera from a batchmate.
